Payment Options

St. Sebastian Parish School uses Smart Tuition for our payment and billing services. Smart Tuition, as an independent processor, employs industry leading standard in data security, privacy, and compliance in the handling of your personal and payment information.

Tuition charges, aftercare charges, and other incidental fees will be billed through Smart Tuition and deducted with tuition payments as schedule. Every family must be signed up for an account within Smart Tuition by May 1, 2017. New families will receive an email to set up their account and returning families will receive an email to confirm the account information they already have set up from Smart Tuition directly. Families will receive an email each month 10 days prior to their account being drafted. Please note that if using a credit card with Smart Tuition there will be a 2.65% convenience fee added to each transaction. There is no additional fee for using a checking or savings account.

There are three SMART TUITION management options:

SMART TUITION Management (Payment in Full)

One payment made in full through Smart Tuition or to the school directly. Payment is due between the dates of July 1st 2017 and August 20th 2017. If paying the school directly one check for the total amount must be brought to the school or business office and given to someone directly. If tuition in full is not paid by August 20th, 2017 then your student(s) registration reservation will be considered available on a first-come first-served basis. There is no fee for using Smart Tuition with this option.

SMART TUITION Management (Semester Plan)

This option will allow for two payments to be made electronically through Smart Tuition. The first payment will be drafted in July 2017 the second payment in December 2017. The day of the months will be the day selected upon setting up your account with Smart Tuition. There is no fee for using Smart Tuition with this option.

SMART TUITION Management (Monthly Plan)

This option will allow for a monthly payment to be made electronically through Smart Tuition. The payments will be 12 equal installments starting in July 2017 and ending in June of 2018. The day of the months will be the day selected upon setting up your account with Smart Tuition. There is a $50 fee for using this payment option. This fee will be deducted with your first payment in the month of July 2018.

Financial Assistance Procedure

St. Sebastian Parish is firmly committed that no child of an active Parishioner will be denied a Catholic education at our Parish school due to a financial inability to pay tuition. Any Parish family that believes it may have difficulty meeting the tuition obligation for the 2017-2018 school year is encouraged to review the following procedures.

Any Parish family concerned about its financial ability to pay the full tuition must complete a Student Aid Form online. This form must be submitted to SMARTAID no later than March 1st, 2017. These forms will be assessed by SMARTAID to help determine a family’s ability to pay tuition. Click HERE to begin your application.

If you would like to be considered for financial aid before your July 2017 payment, you must apply by March 1, 2017.

Once the results from SMARTAID have been returned to the Parish a determination on the level of assistance will be determined. The School Office will contact the Parent/Guardian with the outcome in a timely manner prior to the beginning of the new school year payment period.
