Do you have a child (or grandchild )  who wants to learn to play the Guitar and you also would enjoy learning to play?  Are you looking for a cultural offering in which both you and your child are participants and can share in the joy of learning an instrument together? The Adult/Child Group Guitar course is an opportunity for kids AND their parents or other responsible adult to learn to play the guitar together in a class setting.  The younger students can enroll in the class at the fee of $15.00/session, and the parent/grandparent/responsible adult can enroll FREE OF CHARGE.  Both will go through the class together and will learn the basics of guitar playing including tuning, playing in a group/ensemble setting, playing in both accompaniment and solo styles, chords/strumming and arpeggios, and notation/tablature reading on the Guitar.

All materials are supplied and music used will come from folk songs, pop songs, spirituals and classical pieces.  Guitar rental for the adult is also available for $15.00/month through the instructor.
