RCIA is now OCIA, the Order of Christian Initiation for Adults! What does this name change mean? Click the link below to learn more.
While the name has changed, the substance has not. OCIA is a faith journey for adults who were not raised Catholic and want to know more about the Catholic faith.
The process provides the opportunity for you to ask questions, become acquainted with the practices and traditions of the Catholic Church and often leads to being initiated into the Catholic Church. There is no pressure to make a commitment. The decision of the individual is always respected.
If you, or someone you know, is thinking about becoming Catholic or is looking for more information, please invite them to contact Keith Johnson either by calling the rectory office 330-836-2233 x134 or by email at JohnsonK@stsebastian.org.
