The Sacrament of First Communion is the third sacrament students receive. St. Sebastian Parish School students, PSR and Home Schooled students work together to prepare for the sacrament of First Communion which is celebrated during the Second Grade school year.
Preparation for this sacrament includes home instruction, religion and PSR classes at school, a special catechetical meeting, retreat day and a practice with parents, students, teachers and priests. Students are then prepared to receive the sacraments during a special Mass. This year's First Holy Communion celebration will be Saturday, May 3, 2025 in the Parish Church.
