Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHCs) distribute the Body and Blood of Christ during weekend Liturgies and, when needed, during the week.
EMHCs who wish to be more involved with the liturgical preparations may become Mass Coordinators. If you are interested, contact Karen Bader. EMHCs may also, with extra training, become Visiting Extraordinary Ministers (VEM) who distribute to the faithful who are homebound or in hospitals, convalescent homes, or senior citizen facilities.
EMHCs are always needed on Holy Days of Obligation for the Masses: Vigil at 7PM, morning Mass at 9:00AM and evening at 7PM.
