Father's Bulletin Letter 10.13.2024

Oct 09, 2024

Greetings,
As you may have been aware, your priests were out of town this past week at the behest of our bishop. The priests of the diocese gathered together from Tuesday until Friday afternoon for prayer, fellowship and meetings. Fr. Marcelli returned on Friday afternoon for confessions but I am currently in South Carolina for my nephew’s wedding and will return late Sunday night. If you have been unsuccessfully trying to get ahold of us, please try again this week.

The seminarians were on fall break this past week to correspond to the priest convocation so that the priest professors would be able to get away and participate in the gathering. They are returning to classes on Monday.

In order for the parish to have Masses, we needed priests to fill in. Thank you to Fr. Bernard and Fr. Bahati who celebrated the Eucharist for the parish while we were away. Also, thank you to Deacon Ryan Arto who celebrated compline and benediction on Tuesday night. We are so very fortunate to have all of you to keep prayer and sacraments available during this time.

Please keep all of the priests that assist at St. Sebastian and all of our seminarians in your prayers.
