Greetings,
Last Sunday I received a text from Mr. Rohr, principal of our parish school, that said, “Better news than the Super Bowl. St. Sebastian students did an outstanding job in the
Walsh Science Fair on Saturday!” Our students brought home 5 of the available 9 awards best projects, including 1st place in every category and a combined total of $180 in prize money!

With this in mind I would like to bring to your attention our annual SPECTACULAR! night out fundraiser for our parish school on Saturday, March 1. Tickets must be bought in advance and are on sale NOW! Go to www.stsebastian.org/spectacular for more information and to purchase tickets to support our nationally recognized award-winning school. Not only do we get to provide an outstanding academic education, but we also teach Christ and the Catholic faith. What a great opportunity to have both an enjoyable evening and do so much good!

IN OTHER NEWS:

PRESIDENT’S DAY: On Monday, February 17 Mass will be at 9am. The parish offices will be closed.

THEOLOGY ON THE ROCKS: Fr. Marcelli will be speaking at TOR on Monday, February 17. His topic is “Suicide and Euthanasia.” Tickets are $15 and on sale at the door and doors open at 7pm. There are hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar.

NEXT CONCERT: Mark your calendars for an afternoon of music for flute and harp. Presented by the Musical Arts of St. Sebastian on Sunday, March 2 at 4pm in the church. Mary Duplantier, harp and Barbara O’Brien, flute, both with the Akron Symphony Orchestra. The duo will be joined by Cristian Diaz on viola for a piece.
