Power of the Pen Regional Tournament Results

The Power of the Pen team competed in the regional tournament at Kent State University, on Saturday, February 29th. Special recognition goes out to the following students:

Sydney Borges won 1st place and received the highest ranking on all three pieces of writing. Leo Bates won a Best of Round award and a Best of Best award for his writing. Clare Rothkopf was awarded a special recommendation letter from Kent State University. Other writing results were as follows:

Sophia Magee received 3 Honors and 2 Merit rankings

Sydney Borges received 4 Superiors and 1 Honor ranking

Mia Ross scored 1 Superior and 4 Honors rankings

Leo Bates scored 1 Superior, 3 Honors and 1 Merit ranking

Clare Rothkopf received 5 Honors rankings
