Respect Life Month

Oct 03, 2024

October is Respect Life Month. As we go through this month, may we always work for justice for those most vulnerable in our society and respect life from conception until natural death.

LIFE CHAIN
Sunday, October 6 at St. Sebastian Parish. On Respect Life Sunday, parishioners are invited tobe part of a Life Chain for one hour immediately following the 9:00am OR the  11:00am Mass. Participants will stand in silent prayer along Mull  Avenue, extending around the corner at the Hawkins intersection. Signs conveying messages about abortion, adoption, healing and prayer will be available outside the front entrance of the church. For more information, please call Pat Clark-Varga 330-322-9512.

CROSSES FOR LIFE
During the month of October, our parish will be displaying a field of white crosses on the lawn of Mull Ave. This is to represent the almost 3,000 children who lose their lives daily to abortion in the United States. May this memorial prompt us to pray for women in crisis pregnancies, and inner healing for families who have been harmed by the aftermath of abortion.
