Upcoming Musical Concert
Nov 04, 2019
The Cleveland Chamber Choir will present LUX CAELESTIS: A Prism of Sacred Music, under the direction of Scott MacPherson on Sunday, November 10th in the parish church beginning at 5PM. Central to the concert is Timothy Kramer’s Lux Caelestis, a song cycle of texts about light from five separate
religious traditions: Judaism, Zoroastrianism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Roman Catholicism. Featured as well are the ethereal Allegri Miserere, the mystical O virtus sapiente by Hildegard von Bingen, and the engaging Cecilia, Busy Like a Bee by Cecilia McDowall. Join us at 4:15 p.m. for a themed pre-concert talk.
This event is free and open to the public.
