Cynthia Badran holds a Masters of Music Education from the University of Akron and had been performing, accompaning  and teaching in Akron and around the country.  She will be instructing private piano lessons in the evenings and on Saturdays in the Library of St. Sebastian Parish School, and will take all levels with an interest in Adult Beginners.

"The beautiful piano that I had so passionately begged for arrived on that special Christmas Morning of my fourth-grade school year! I had hoped, cried and begged my parents for it –and it was my dream come true finally, complete with a huge red bow on top!  My parents had their doubts that I would “stick with it” – but my love for the instrument and music only continued to grow with each passing year. I had the fabulous opportunity to do my earliest piano studies with Marion Griebling and then moved on by High School and College studying with my mentor, Pat Pace.  Teaching and passing on my musical knowledge has always had animportant part in my life and I have taught Music in the Catholic School as well as having a Private Studio ever since graduating from College.  I love all ages of students – adults are great, too! – and I teach all styles of music to students of all levels.  I have performed and taught in many different venues and positions around Northeast Ohio and I look forward to continuing to serve and to use my skills at the Academy at St. Sebastian’s."
